The Block Data Manager (version 2.2) program works with AutoCAD, Access and Excel to record, change, query, sort, update and output data in your drawing.

• Records block attributes and definitions to Access (included CADD.mdb) database.
• Multiple blocks may be selected, edited, sorted, queried, flagged and/or exported to Excel.
• Block attributes and properties are listed in a clickable, sortable grid.
• Clicking the Block Definitions grid displays associated Block References recorded from the drawing.
• Block References grid allows editing (single or multiple blocks) of block properties and attributes.

  • Changes made via the grid are be updated to the drawing (properties and attributes).
  • Selected block references may be automatically flagged in the drawing.
  • Blocks are easliy zoomed from the grid. Combine with query and sort to review data.
  • Selected block references may be written to Excel via a configurable menu with selectable properties, attributes, company and client data to export. The data to export may be sorted by any property or attribute values.
  • Block references may be queried via a configurable menu, easily construct and save SQL.
    • Example: Query selected where X > 1250000 and Z >( -11500) and Layer name like %survey% and Attribute 0 = 'borehole and Attribute 4 = '2005'
    • Queried results may be edited, zoomed, flagged or exported to Excel.
  • Individual or consecutive block references may be zoomed in the drawing.
  • Color coded notification of block references found with blank attributes.
